"Forgive Me If I'm Late", the fourth track from Vice Guaraldi's album, "In Person." The album was recorded live in 1962 at Sausalito's Trident Lounge, with Fred Marshall on bass, Eddie Duran on guitar, Colin Bailey on drums, and Benny Velarde on scratcher.

  • @MooPotPie yup i know what they are haha. i love this guy's stuff but it's hard to find.

  • @bluejay55118 It's called the "clave" (clah - vay), a two-bar pattern played by two short wooden sticks called … of all things…"claves". Most Latin American music is based on a clave pattern. The bossa nova pattern is particularly sexy!
