HOW SAD

@aboha6 The two subjects are related since Islam existed in Arabia! Besides, Arabs consider non-Arabs second class Muslims and everyone knows that. So when you talk about Islam you talk about its origin. The Iraqis did not convert in peace, rather, they were forced to convert or pay tax or be killed. The Arabs did not defend Iraq from the Persians, they attacked the persians and converted them. Iraq was converted to a an Islamic country. You have a long way to go, need to read alot more.

@steppingrock u r trying to convert it from Islam issue to Arabs issue.
ppl in iraq converted to Islam by peace, and Saad bin Waqqas was a leader to fight for muslims right there, and to defend Persian attacks, it was like a state of islamic country.
now u need to learn history beside the language.

I learned Arabic since I was a little boy, I lived in Iraq, Iraq had no Arabs in it, Islam came to Iraq under the command of Sa'ad Ibin Abi Wiqas and entered Islam by the power of the sword. Iraq at that time was under the Persian occupation even though the indigenous people of the land were still occupying it and till this day in smaller numbers. Arab Muslims forced Kurds and Persians to convert to Islam. It seems as though you need to learn a bit of history. Arabs had nothing

LOLs, ok, now I'm Arabic speaker, and u r non-native Arabic speaker teaching me Arabic, that's really funny haha!! btw, when Islam entered Persia, they did it in order to retrieve their stolen holdings after Persian attacks to the land that called now "Iraq".
learn more about Islam plz before u discuss or judge :) and don't argue an Arabic guy about the language he/she speaks while u r NOT Arabic.
u have a good day.

I am serious, you don't know the difference b/w submission and peace. Islam is istislam which means submission. Salam menas peace. You are trying to twist the meaning to make Islam peaceful, that will not work because the world understands it is a violent religion. Oh yeah, that is why Islam entered persia by the sword! Real proof of being peaceful. I always do but a dark herecy like this where so many people are deceived, overlooked? Promote the killing infidels and apostates?

@steppingrock
LOL, r u joking or serious ?
speaking and reading Arabic means u know Arabic than Arabs themselves ?
dude ..
سلام = peace
اسلام = ISLAM !! < ( it's a name not a noun ), but it came from Arabic word, سلام , which means peace
اسلم تسلم = a Saying has been said 1400 years ago by a Muslim leader to a Parisian emperor, and means like wut u said, which is a BIG prove that Islam means PEACE !
try to see things on their bright side not the dark one :)

@aboha6 Yes, because you don't know the difference between peace and submission!
I speak and read Arabic, and can also write in Arabic.
سلام = peace
اسلام =submission
اسلم تسلم = submit to our credo (Islam) which is submitting to the will of Allah, you will not be killed
