On Sunday November 13th 2011 Portland Police raided Occupy Portland. They claimed there were no injuries. One protester, Justin James Bridges (a native of Houston, Texas) was manhandled as he lay peacefully on the ground. As a result of the injury to his spine, Justin may be partially paralyzed. There is currently a class action lawsuit being registered to force the Portland Police to release the raw video. As a person who knows Justin well, I can guarantee he is not a provocateur or a fake. Please spread this to all who will listen. "We are the 99%"

OMG, I got thru the first two minutes and couldn't watch anymore. What a moron. It was his CHOICE to be down there with a broken back. If he had half a brain in his head, he would not have been down there in that condition. He should be THANKING the police for his free stay in the hospital.

@DavidLister6000 Just like sitting on a bus solved nothing. Or sitting at a lunch counter. The action, in and of itself, solves nothing. But these small actions ignited powerful mass movements that mobilized millions of people in this country to push further. One could also argue that voting solves nothing. Voting certainly solves nothing when both parties are owned by Wall Street.

OMG, I know nothing can ever take the place of losing the ability to make music. I know as I play, myself. However, I hope that a government check for support for the rest of Justin's life will, at least, keep him going. All my love and god mojo sent in your direction, Justin, and Occupy Portland.
