Como já foi dito, acho que há uma divisão importante. O "new school" centra-se mais no individual enquanto o "old school" se centrava mais na equipa (o que acontece não só com jogadores nacionais). Apesar do Ronaldo ser o jogador que é, nunca com ele se irá sentir a paixão pelo futebol que se sentia com a equipa coesa da geração de ouro (com Figo e Rui Costa). Figo e Rui Costa claramente acima, são uns senhores.
