EA 26-year-old St. Paul woman is facing two felonies - credit card fraud and check forgery - in connection with a July vehicle break in at the Wayzata Country Club.

Stephanie Lindstrom has been charged in the case.

On July 2 a car was broken into at the country club and a woman's purse - along with multiple credit cards and check blanks - was stolen.

On the same day, more than $2,000 in charges were made on the cards. In additon, more than $1,600 in checks forged checks were written.

Lindstrom admitted in late July admitted to the break-in and using the credit cards and check blanks to make multiple purchases.

Each charge against Lindstrom carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Impact of Excelsior grand opening

Impact, a new men's clothing store in Excelsior, is having its grand opening 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

Impact is located at 266 Water St.

The store was started by Daran and Debbie Slusar. Debbie Slusar is part owner of the Amore and Fede, which is only a few doors down.

She said a lot of people asked about a good place to buy men's clothing in the area, and after Daran's work in the housing industry started to decline, he saw it as an opportunity to open the store with his wife.
