I attended a seminar with this guy a few years ago - bloody awful it was. I think this Kata is something his Dad made up isn't it.

I don't know about more than one translation, but the one I wrote there is the literal. I had to learn it in the "Young Teacher's assistant" course I took a few months ago. Now I have to get ready because in January I shoud have a test for a black belt and I have a belt and a silver medal from the open contest in Italy went on between 5th to 8th of November.

Yagi Sensei really placed a lot of ko uke into his kai-ha kata.

Strange that on Lenzi's tapes of Toguchi, a translator quotes Toguchi as saying "Ko-Uke should not be relied upon" but that is one of the trademarks of his additional kata as well. You also see Toguchi using Ko-Uke a lot in pictures and in Kihon. I love using this type of "receiving" and I believe it is hallmark Goju-Ryu.
