I am not trying to hurt anyone. If I can make people think about something they dared not think about before then I have achieved my goal.

I say it the way I see it. Christianity does not improve the conduct nor character of its followers. Many christians do hold the bible to be taken literally and would be the first to judge you and your kind a christian as heretics, cafeteria christians, a pretend christian. I will let you and the other christians figure this out between you.

If that so be the case, then I am interested as to what your take would be on the meaning for the biblical documentation of the following three: Creation, Crucifixion and Resurrection?

Simply put- the video makes a point- with an insufficient statement. Yes, christians are hypocrites. Amidst imperfections, we're human. But bear in mind these are also the end times. And people have to choose one or the other. Are they for God OR for Satan and this world? Can't be both.

A 'Christian' is nothing but a label. I throughly dislike the term altogether. We will never live up to it. The NT term was much more fitting- a 'believer'.

@MVhowell87 Claiming God is sinless, perfect, pure, righteous & just is silly. Sin is disobeying God. Calling God sinless is saying God never disobeys itself. In the context of theism, perfect & pure is completely like God so you are saying God is completely like God. In the context of theism, righteous & just is following God so you are saying God is completely following God.

christians dont really believe the bible stories are true. Deep down they know better.

But when push comes to shove and they have to face their own mortality, the end of their own lives or the loss of someone they loved, they would rather pretend that death is not really the end, they would rather pretend they will all be together again in a city of gold, than to admit to themselves that

they would rather believe ANYTHING ELSE, but the cold reality.

Congratulations, you figured it out. Bronze and Iron age men were not real bright. They made their god omni and the creator. Then they claimed man has a choice. This makes everything illogical about christianity, islam and judaism. Remember this same "sinless, perfect" god created Satan and evil. It is an illogical mess, this bible and the religions that worship it.

@MVhowell87 If god is as you claim it will not be the god of the bible because that god is not perfect, righteous or just. If this god is just then I have nothing to worry about. I am not an atheist, I just don't believe that cartoon character described by the bible is more than a fictional character invented by brutal and ignorant bronze age man.

@Netwriter. check this out please, let me know what you think about radiometric dating after this. (go to answers in genesis dot com, look up radiometric dating) Also, back to the omniscient God, if God was pure and sinless then making us do sin, without a choice at all, wouldn't make any sense at all. Also, saying that we have NO CHOICE then a huge part of the NT wouldn't make any sense! Maybe it's not that, maybe, it's that each chapter is in the context of the Bible?
