A visiting French National Railways goods (freight) train suffers a derailment while travelling the American and Canadian countryside. Luckily, a compatible rescue crane is available to get things back on track. Please note the Bing country station that was built to make the engineer feel more at home. Enjoy!

  • Wonderful train!

  • @chiconian49 Thanks. Tinplate and FastTrack don't mix well, but its still fun to run them around the layout.

  • Awesome video and camera angles! I'm glad to see you have a crane to help fix your derailment! Keep the trains rolling and the camera recording!

  • @aocruiser Thanks. The derailment was quite unplanned, but worked well into the crane car sequence. I've found, however, that tinplate trains do not like FastTrack switches.

  • @bluecomet390 Yeah, my old Marx tinplate with single reduction motors won't operate on FastTrack switches or any kind of Lionel switches.
