Yes, socialism and communism have always been paired with dictatorship and oppression of people - not just in history books, but in the media as well.

Capitalism is man exploiting man (you can't get rich if you don't get rich on the cost of someone else) while socialism/communism is just the opposite (solidarity.)

Capitalism has been the core for wars and slavery over and over again throughout history.
