Don't feel bad, dude. You lost your front wing before the first turn, and really, I commend you for playing with the keyboard. This game was most definitely designed for a wheel and pedals.
It was a good try. Practice up, don't get discouraged!! Check out my vids, too, I use a PS2 controller, at least until I get my wheel. Good luck!
