I bought my Erhu because of listening to this man in the Subway on a trip years ago at 12am. So glad someone recorded this!

Use an accordion, go to jail.

New York City does refer to their subway system by using the term "Metro."
New Yorkers would say, "I'm taking the train downtown." While in Washington, DC, someone might say, "I'm taking the Metro downtown." To say, "Metro" is a dead giveaway that one is not from New York.

@zeze40video Sun Huang does a really amazing version of Saint Saens Rondo you may find more to your liking. I think it translates better to erhu at least.

does anyone know who he is?!!! he is the great er hu player from china

He is really great but I don't care for Western music on Erhu. It's just kinda sad.

Wow new York city, where everything can happen, thats why i'm living here! Lol

I think I saw smoke coming off the strings... excellent!
HEY! He is playing Zigeunerweisen by Pablo de Sarasate. This is not an easy piece, in fact, on violin, the combination of fast notes, left hand pizzicato, and the harmonics make it one of the most challenging pieces out there, for him to arrange it to erhu and accordion is an amazing feat unto itself, let alone execute it with such precision and creativity. Hands down a true musician
