You want your kid to have fun, take him to the park, or the movies or some other sport. This is a martial arts class. Martial meaning relating to war. Martial arts are first and foremost a defense mechanism as a way to keep your child from being hurt, not to go out and seek others to hurt. Most Martail Arts classes including this one will teach simple and effective offensive and defensive manuevers that physically harm, not kill your attackers as a means to defend yourself.
