Suspicious Brush Fires In Modesto, California - Modesto News

Early yesterday morning there were 2 brush fires within a mile of each other on Claus Rd. One near Claus Rd. and Floyd Ave. around 4:00 a.m. and the other just prior and just south of that.

Because of the close proximity in time and location the two fires are considered to be suspicious according to the Modesto Fire Department.

Modesto News .org was at the fire near Floyd Ave. to bring you this footage of the Modesto Fire Department's response to the fire and this written account of what happened.

No one was injured during the fires and the fires caused no damage to property.
