ABC's Beyond Belief show featured JREF's 1 million dollar challenge by having Banachek and Randi test three so-called psychics.

  • ABC was SCAMMED!!!!!!! While they did this the co-founder of the JREF was in jail for FRAUD!!!!!!! They got Flim Flammed by Randi... LOL

  • @professorhoodoo

    "ABC was SCAMMED" How?

"While they did this the co-founder of the JREF was in jail for FRAUD" Which co-founder? Guilt by association and non sequitur ring any bells by the way?¨

"They got Flim Flammed by Randi" Again, how?

  • @wimsweden

Jose Alvarez is/was randi's partner in the JREF inc. He's an Illegal Alien as you well know and randi's BOY TOY..LOL

Banachek just uses what appear to be magic tricks you can buy at any magic shop.

The FBI have arrested randis buddy for FRAUD .. They are partners in the JREF and the SCAM!!!!

  • @professorhoodoo

"as you well know" No, I didn't, but I just read about it on the JREF forum.

If José Alvarez (if that is his name) stole someone's identity that is a serious crime which should be prosecuted. However, I don't see how the co-operation between Banachek, ABC and the alleged psychics suddenly becomes a "scam" because of that. That's still a non-sequitur.

  • Love guys like Randi, Banachek and Derren Brown. They are doing a great service debunking paranormal rubbish. Psychics ,palm readers are all frauds.I suspect some truly believe that they have powers and don't intentionally mean to be frauds but these guys are just delusional reading too much into small coincidences. They look/cling to evidence to support there claims not for evidence against which they just dismiss anyway. Like the guys in the video and there excuses for the tests not working.

  • @wimsweden Exactly, my cousin's oldest son robbed a bank, he did 10 years for it. How does that make me unqualified to look objectively at test results? I've worked in many labs, I can read a chart and I've had a 300 level statics class. Because of that background, I knew from the start of the show that 1 in 12 is about the odds of guessing for tests like these. Who cares what my private associations are? How does that affect the task at hand? How does that affect that I was right?

  • Rather than Jersey Shore and American Idol, can we have tv shows dedicated to debunking psychics like this?

  • @professorhoodoo Nonsense. Everyone is allowed to take the challenge.

  • @gulbirk

No one with a chance to win is allowed to take the challenge ... The Divination Project beat the odds but they refused to let them challenge ... CHEATERS!!!!

  • @tgerber04

But the fraudulent JREF says APPLY APPLY APPLY ...IF YOU HAVE POWERS APPLY ... The test is actually for a Paranormal Event!

  • These magic tricks are sold in magic stores. Buy some! Start your own challenge. No one can beat you.

  • @wimsweden

The whole organization was started by a FRAUD!!! The whole tree and it's fruit is TAINTED!!!!! They will soon owe the IRS millions and the fraud will be punished. they are stalling looking for a loophole now!

  • The JREF was started by FRAUDS!!!!!
