Lend a Hand to the Farmers ~ sung by Patty Ann Smith
with Guitar by Craig Smith
song written by and
originally performed by
Willie Nelson and Marty Dread
A nation that does not have an abundance of family farmers ~ is an impoverished nation in body, mind, and spirit. Many family farmers are teachers of the natural world, and we need them more than ever, now. I find it unacceptable that the US family farmers that have been feeding us all along, are becoming some of the homeless and hungry among us. The health of our country is at stake in more ways than one. Please, lend a hand to the family farmers of this land.
Peace to ALL

Great rendition of this historic song that shows the way for us to help ourselves is by lending a hand to the farmers.
Thanks.

This is fantastic! Thank you so much for this touching music video. You both created a beautiful anthem for the first cover of Willie Nelson and Marty Dread's song . We look forward to featuring this very soon on Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute. xxoo LIz

Great song, Patty and Craig. Maybe we are finally starting to get the message. I see more and more folks, young and old, who are concerned about factory farming and working to get back to the more humane methods of the family farm. Green and organic just might be in our future, eh. God bless. ~ Mark
