Launch Conference overview and @Launch company picks!

On today's LonsTV, it's a Launch Conference round-up. Lon spent the week in beautiful ice-cold San Francisco watching over 140 companies present their new products and ideas to an audience of entrepreneurs, investors, press and underemployed bearded guys with crazy hair who until recently produced podcasts.

Lon discusses his general feelings on the event, and compares the mood to the TechCrunch 50 conferences of old.

- Overstat: A neat analytics tool that works as an overlay on your website. A bit like a less robust but more immediately intuitive and wide-reaching Chartbeat.

- Cabana: One of those products that, if it works, will be revolutionary. A simple tool allowing non-technical rubes like myself to design mobile apps.

- Chute: Really clever. Send your photos wherever you want quickly, keep them organized. Never again get stuck with a ton of photos on your phone that you need to e-mail to yourself.

- Room 77: This won the "Best of 1.0 Companies" group. Learn all about individual hotel rooms before you check in so you can be sure to get the one that's best for you. Even simulate the view from your window!

- ToothTag: This app would have won my personal "Best in Show." (It got best 1.0 Technology). "Tag" individual bluetooth signals, so you can get alerts when your friends are around, or never lose your car. Brilliant!
