  • I have a brand new 1978 Energized Spider-Man with Spider Sense in a nice unopened box on ebay right now. Extremely rare, (see if you can find another for sale) the bidding ends on Friday July 8. I also have other toys from the 70's up for bidding including Mego figures. Just search for Energized Spiderman on ebay. Happy 4th of July! :)

  • LOL...."fly away action"...WTF!! Since when can Spiderman or the Incredible Hulk fly? I remember my older cousin having Captain America, the Falcon, Robin, and Shazam. Nothing like being a kid on Saturday morning back in the day.

  • "Each sold separately."

    Well... duh.

  • lol ^^

  • I had 4 Mego figures: 12 inch Robin, Superman, Hulk and 8 inch Spiderman. All fell in the line of duty of playtime wear-and-tear, with the Hulk being the last. I don't remember how Robin and Superman bit it but I recall my uncle doing a makeshift repair on one of Spiderman's arms with a twist-tie when the inner cord broke. And the Hulk suffered a lower leg fracture. I thought it was cool seeing the hollow inside of his foot and calf. Of course that was after I had a mild fit.

  • Love it, tks..

  • Xcellent!!

  • No! I remember having a 12 inch Spidey & Hulk but they didn't have the fly-away action. That came a few months later.

  • Did every toy by Mego have fly-away action?

  • Today is 3-4-07 and I still have this very same Hulk sitting in my display cabinet. I remember getting him for christmas sometime in the late 70's? (78 or 79?)

I used to set up styro foam blocks and have him smash them! Hulk at this size was such a bonus compared to the 8"in. line that we were so used to.
