I bought one of these (only alienware i have) and the thing lived for about 3 to 4 years. After that, major hardware repair and replace is required. Overall, great system, and good service (if you are still in warranty). Bad side is that it is way over priced for how long it last. I was hoping it would last longer than 4 years. I still have it but it is becoming expensive to maintain.
