Un día come con su compañero Bo en una pequeña cafetería, TriBeCa, donde nunca había entrado. Al no disponer de dinero suelto para dejar propina, Charlie paga a la camarera, Yvonne, con una promesa: si gana en el próximo sorteo de la loto, compartirá el premio con ella. Para Yvonne no ha sido un buen día y sólo le faltaba aguantar falsas promesas de un policía con prisas. Sorprendentemente, el billete resulta premiado con la cantidad de cuatro millones de dólares. Para desesperación de Muriel, Charlie mantiene su promesa y cuenta a Yvonne que son millonarios y que tienen dos millones cada uno. Muy pronto, la prensa y televisión de la ciudad se muestran encantadas con el suceso.

I don't think I'd go to the extremes these people did, just wasting the money, But If I ever won the lottery, I would stockpile the soup kitchens and the animal shelters, and do something nice for the people who were sick, like give to the make a wish foundation. I would take care of the people who have been decent to me, and not the ones who have turned their backs on me!
