I've searched on YouTube and haven't really found any videos of Lucy and Gary, which isn't surprising because Desi was the more famous one, but Gary was the one I think Lucy was really happy with for the rest of her life.

Lucy and Desi were soul mates. However soulmates with a lot of pride. Their daughter Lucie even said so in an interview that it was hard for them to say they were sorry. I still love them though. They have brought great joy to me through out the years. Love Like Desi and Lucy doesnt die. I want to find intense love like that .

I wish Desi and Lucy could have worked out their marriage. I read somewhere that Lucy was with Desi at his bedside before he slipped into a coma. The she flew to the Kennedy Center awards in her honor.

And, Come on now. Desi was a fine Cuban! He was smart and I believed he really loved Lucy. However he was a skirt chaser. Being that famous and handsome women probably threw themselves at him daily. Doesnt make it right.

I sorry I just think Gary and Lucy's marriage was a marriage of convenience. I have not doubt that she cared for Gary. They were married over 20yrs. However, Desi and Lucy had an intense unspoken chemistry. I didnt see that with her and Gary. Gary knew when he married Lucy he would always be in Desi's shadows.

As you said on the description, Desi was the famus one, and yes, I`dsay yours is the only youtube vid. about Lucy and Gary.I can bet yaa the money in my wallet that Lucy was happy with Gary...For some tiem that is, because I know for a fact that after I`d say about 10 years, they were just together to have company!

Thanks for this. I think Gary's role in Lucy's life has often been underrated - she was married to him longer than to Desi, too. I believe Desi remained Lucy's romantic love of her life, but that Gary made her laugh and learn to be happy again -- like a closest friend. It was odd, but actually great to see so many pics of them together when there are so many Lucy/Desi famous photos out there. She was always so beautiful!
