  • Those look like tiny valves compared to the size of your hand.

    What types have you in there?

    I assume that the valves are all in the signal path and you have a silicon rectifier for the HT.

    I have done AM radios, not short wave. It does look like the coil is for the AM broadcast band in your radio.

  • @NJPurling The tubes are "whole glass" and they are tiny indeed...

    For HT I used a double diode EZ80(the first at left).

    The radio receive broadcast band yes.
