Joy Ride ends in Alley

Uploaded using FlipShare.February 20, 2009, MOI films the nicked motor dumped in the alley behind the El Capri. Used and tossed, it sits, causing the 'real' owner to suffer. The alley is perfect place to dump as it is hoped it will go 'unnoticed'. Not bloody likely with MOI, hje reports everything and hopes that the owner gets motor back and the evil person who nicked the motor is brought to justice. Mind, MOI is a 'busy body' and should not concern self with these things.........right

So wait, let me get this straight. A guy steals a car, and just dumps it into an alley and he doesn't even strip it for money? Car thefts are very common where I'm from but if someone stole it; don't you think they would at least strip it?

Coppers tell that it is common for a motor to be nicked and left after it is used. Given the amount of drug activity in area is quite possible it was used just to provide a ride. AND, there were signs of damage to vehicle, like the radio was torn out of dash. More's the pity they did not take more according to you.
