Pit a terrible character? Watch KY go against affinity and karma, two of the best snake and MK players and winning. Honestly, tiers dont mean much, MK may be better but that does not mean that every other character does not stand a chance against him.

just because people can play pit well doesn't mean pit's not a terrible character. I also said that pit vs snake and pit vs mk is actually somewhat even since upair makes it hard for mk to edge guard, his biggest strength

Pit's also my best character for any non-neutral stage... yet I still admit he's a terrible character.

And you must be a kansas boy thinking karmacide and affinity are two of the best with their characters :P

You have given points to why Pit is a good character but all you can say about him being terrible is, well, he is terrible. Pit is easily one of the best characters in my book,he is not quite as fast as meta knight but still very fast and weighs a lot more than him (but still not heavy enough to get chain grabbed easily). His aerial attacks have greater priority than almost anybody and he has the best recovery along with meta knight.Only thing bad with him is his knockback,but thats just barely

his recovery is actually really bad. his upB gets him gimpped against a lot of characters (falco, lucario, other characters with projectiles) and if metaknight doesn't go for dair edge guards, meta can get some gimps too.

He also has an extremely hard time killing anyone. His two KO moves are f smash which is a damage racker so probably weak, and back air which requires some serious sweet spotting and predicting. low KOs are essential

He's really not a very good character...

His upB allows him to go under the stage and up on the other side on most stages, or just fly far beyond what most characters can gimp him. Not to mention that he can glide/jump 4 normal times.

Since he can rack up damage faster than most other characters, with maybe the exception of Meta knight, I would say that he has no trouble at all killing a character. He may need the get a character up to 150%+ but since he can do that easier than most others I would say that he can kill very well

stop playing theory smash. There's a counter to every counter in writing, but in play it doesn't work like that.

And pit kills well below 150...
