    Nope, M7, you get it in the Citadel DLC and it works like guns in ME1. If you stop shooting it'll cool down but if you run out of ammo it needs to go through a whole venting animation that takes a lot longer than reloading normally.

    M7 Lancer + upgraded thermal clips + recoil stabilization is my favorite gun by far in ME3

    huh, i guess i never noticed lol. i usually spike down low level mobs first before dealin with the tougher guys, so i guess i never rly gave them a chance to recharge.

    To be fair, enemy shields recharge properly in ME3. They didn't in ME2, though, which was silly.
