Team TS-6M LCD

A small look as promised to the CharlieTango's. New into the QTH today 16.02.2011 and typical no conditions and also ill :( The radio replaces the previous Orange screened version and makes some changes as the audio does not seem to sound so hollow when tested against the old version. Price raised also, guess thats progress and the cost of it. New design s-meter, same box, new board and new lay out for the multi-norms. DE, UK, PL, EC, EU, EI are inside and maximum power of course of 4w AM/FM is there dependent on the band you are using. I do not know all the modifications that have been done but there are and must be many. RX is clearer and sharper, audio is nice on FM and AM which is a suprise.NO REAL TESTS ARE DONE SO FAR, just a little look around to see the radio. The rest will follow in the next days and weeks. Qixiang of AT5555 fame are the makers again am sure and made well it is. Well Done to them !! I commented that the last TS-6M died too soon, and it did. Let's hope the new one becomes a back bone of a new series of radios from Team and Qixiang. Maybe they can make an SSB also ready for the new norms? Guess must wait and see...............

@G1DRP It is sharp and well sounding. The mike does not sound hollow like some, and if you hear the people speaking thats a fair representation as the audio is nice and rich sounding. 73s Simon
