Solaris - Re-cut Trailer

Sometimes Hollywood just doesn't cut it when it comes to trailers. Steven Soderbergh's "Solaris," along with Tarkovsky's original, are personal favorites.

The trailers that surrounded the film's release either played up the love story or the anomaly of an all-liquid planet. I didn't think either did the film justice, so I re-cut my own in lieu of being a bit more true to the science-fiction aspect, along with the suspense and mystery of the plot.

Excellent trailer.  Actually on point.

"I never really liked Tarkovsky's version" - He said this long before the version of Soderberg existed (there was a russion TV-version even before Tarkovsky). But he also wouldn't like the version of Soderbergh, you can be sure. Because the movie is even farer away from the book than the movie of Tarkovsky (e.g. both have a completly different ending than the book). The book is better, because it's not only focused on the love story, but about the limitations of human perception.

@gol67 The issue it´s just because my nick you thought my favourite movie it´s Twilight and... NOT IT´S NOT. But my less favourite movie ever was Solaris (this, George Clooney one) THAT 4 SURE!!I´m sorry, Twilight it´s not a GOOD MOVIE, but when I watched it in the cinema, I didn´t want to kill myself...Just a point. And I´m Spanish, so to hell with Hollywood crap. I can´t care less...
