@TheClassifiedMan 17 on a full licence, you will be restricted to 33bhp for 2 years or until you are 21 years of age, if you do your test before you are 21.
16 years old is for 50cc mopeds restricted to no more than 35mph i believe

dont they have issues legalizing the crf250/450R because the R's emissions or is that passable test when you pipe te stock motocross exhaust for like just a spark aresstor?? i have 05 crf R and i heard only x's are streetable but idk??? your prossess there please, id appriciate any advise, and are you running a batterie or just the lighting stator? with regular kick start still.

@R6outAccelALambo I guess it all depends on which country your in. In the UK there's no emission tests for bikes at their MOT (bikes >3 years old need an MOT once per year) and with the loudness of the exhaust being more or less at the discretion of the tester although if they spot a not for road use badge on the can they may well fail. As for new bikes, then emission tests apply but if Honda can pass the EU wide test with the CRF450X then the R can't be far behind.

so why did you rebuild your top end if it was the con rod that was bad?
bandguy360 10 months ago
@bandguy360 pistons are usually the first thing that needs replacing after maybe 20-30 hrs so thought it best to do both at the same time which also saves having to buy another top end gasket set at some point later on.

how did you know the springs on the exhaust valve were upside down? just curious

@quadguy100 - careful study of the picture in the manual showed the slightly tighter coiled end points down
