Wow trumpets come in a little to strong....well i guess thats way better than my school band where you cant even hear them

In February there was an honor band with about 230 middle school students doing this song. I was in it. it was great

your trumpet section sucks! south pointe middle school's 7th grade band played this and was wayyy better! but the other sections played very well. ( i play trumpet)..

Hmm... the trumpets were a little off and your low brass needs A LOT of work. Perhaps I notice your relatively weak low brass section due to the fact I'm a 'bone player myself but... Also in certain parts I noticed there was dissonance within the trumpet section, you guys kinda needed to tune I think. Don't know much 'bout the percussion since we have literally two percussionists and one is strictly axillary percussion. I know how much that constructive criticism helped though I hope it did.

Well, we have gotten much better since then and I'll post more after our next concert (18th I believe).

Ramble mode initiated!
To be completely honest I have no idea what our band sounds like since I sit in the back and things always sound different from the back. I could try to record ours from the spring concert that is next week (I think). Either way I need to try and get Malguena down for Jazz Band. The problem is I need to know what a rhythm sounds like in order to to it right and I can't figure out what the rhythm is exactly supposed to sound like. Side note: I hope the trumpets practiced!

Well our just school ordered a recording system that record from 2 stereo mics and burns straight to a DVD-RW. (Re. to Side note: They have, they sound much better.)
