good video and thanks for the effort u put in... however it is important to mention that with every new translation that appears some things are changed according to the translators beliefs... such as to accomodate a GAP theory in genesis or be able to go along the so called evolution theory...

this was good series but why not go back to The Geneva Bible? I do not think every generation needs a newer translation that they can easily understand. I read KJV at 12 and understood it very well and the old language made it even more of a great read if anything.

KJV is God's preserved Word.

@ChristianPatriarchy amen--what this person missed is that King James feared the sacred words written in Revelations. You know tha ones that state if one word of letter or jot is removed or added there will be dire consequences. The king may have had several scolars--but it is only 16 that would translate one verse--example 1 person would write "in the beg" then 15 others would view and evalutate for its accuracy or the verse wouldn't be added. No one can say of any other bible(Geneva,tynad,etc)

Not the Darlene song, the one before it.

Very good, I must get myself a geneva bible,but I have confidence in the kjv. first question tho. What song is this playing? Its supadupa.
I notice however you dont mention with the niv etc that they are from the alexandrian gnostic manuscripts nor does westcott/hort whom dont believe in the trinity get a mention. in the new versions the deity of christ is taken out of such passages as 1 tim 3v16 and the trinity removed from 1 john 5v7. just checked genevas on amazon, so expensive, savingup!

Interesting but it lacks several "steams" in the history of biblical translation. In the 20th century, there are four translations which are not even mentioned which happen to be, in my opinion as teacher of koine (New Testament) Greek and Biblical Theology, more faithful translations. However, the problem with that discussion is, of course, how different schools of translation place weight on factors. Personally, I don't care what anyone reads as long as they actually read it not make it decor

To condemn the King James Bible as an inferior expression of the Word of God is bigotted, i.e an irrational prejudice. The Holy Spirit obviously moves within the beauty of the translation. This is just one more reason why I, as a 39 article English Protestant who's church was founded by men who were MURDERED fighting Rome will always consider Pentacostals with suspicion.

@ProphecyChannel ...it's in Arabic.
It is not a Bible - it is an interpretation.
I dont even like the fact that "Bible" is in its title. While it may be used as a tool, I personally do not find value in it. I have a digital copy along with numerous other translations and I have never used it once.
So long as it is not taken as an authority, it has its place, I suppose. However, I believe it has little value. I say research Scripture and compare. Doing so invalidates the book in question.
My 2 cents anyway
