Tonight, Bruce is playing QUICKEN LOANS Arena, & people are probably getting the show of their lives! But, is the irony lost on him as he stands atop "banker's hill?" No need for him to stop performing @ TD Garden, Wells Fargo, First Niagra et al. Better for him to acknowledge that many average Americans took loans they couldn't afford, that amateurs started flipping houses & that we all elected officials who encouraged low rates & easy loans & asked Fannie & Freddie to keep the Ponzi going!

Since Bruce invites a conversation with his audience, here goes. At 1:51 , he stereotypes Wall Street as thieves. Wall Street provides the funding and liquidity that allows companies like Apple, Microsoft, and (his $110 million sugar daddy) Sony to exist and thrive. Yes, there is more greed on Wall Street than your typical business, but painting all of of Wall Street as one big boogeyman is just an unthoughtful jump on today's populist bandwagon. He can do better and always has.

Entitled to opinion- we all are. Reply..like you I did He doesn't try be a working class stiff..couldn't. doesn't mean he can't continue to listen/observe/respond Musicares interviewer asked how he can try to stay in touch..."I listen,ask,absorb..you have to WANT to do it. Im motivated CIRCUMSTANTIALLY by events of the day (ones that affected financial status growing up and at the start). Not many care to do so. If he is "full of shit" to you, so be it. He's not trying to impress everyone.

Hey. i'm entitled to my opinion. been following Bruce since 1978 when i was a 16 year old kid. i spent a shit load of money over the years to see him. I guess i have outgrown his music and can't relate to him anymore. he became way too political. he wants to play both sides of the fence. make you think he is like a working class stiff and rub shoulders with the elite. I think he is full of shit. I live in NJ and alot of people feel the same way that i do about THE BOSS!.

Civil discussion doesn't involve using words like "libturds"...doesn't tend to foster friendly, lets try to find an end to this, civil discussion

When your comments and rantings solve our problems, we will applaud you. We know things aren't great...that's why we listen. What artist claims they are FOR the elite and yet don't give of their wealth?

He protests the Iraq war...wouldn't support the Republicans who went to find nonexistent WMDS...over 3,000 killed, countless civilians, many maimed physically and mentally. His MAGIC Album was banned by Fox News from their Clear Channel station as it addressed the war W started.
