@LadyoftheLabyrinth I was wondering if you had read Beowulf & Grendel: The Truth Behind England's Oldest Legend by John Grigsby and what you thought of it.

@luttimatos Thanks! But I am sufficiently informed about the illuminati/ancient ETs theories that are spread so fervently online, and it is neither an energy,a speculation or a knowledge that I wish to attract into my experience by focusing on it,neither am I needed to add to that mythology.I´m interested in the spiritual and metaphysical messages of ancient myths, that is where I have the knowledge to offer something unique.Hm, serpent is a symbol of wisdom and transformation in most myths.Love:)

@LadyoftheLabyrinth Hello There. I have a question about Norse mythology i would really like to ask you. Your response would be greatly appreciated :) The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit inevitably led me to Norse Mythology. I love it. But i can't find much on it. I'm in Canada, and Norse mythology is not so mainstream. My question: What should i seek for a good foundation in it? What books, stories, movies? I'm not academically interested, but personally interested. THANK YOU! :)

@dirosaga Hm, most of the work I read is sort of academic...Maybe you should just try and read the myths in translation? Snorri Sturlusson´s Prose Edda and some copy of the Poetic Edda in translation? I would always go straight to the source and translations of these will be as close as you get. But they are not so easy to understand without a bit of serious research. They might still entertain you... Otherwise In think tha H.E. Davidson has several good textbooks about the myths for overview
