@REPOMAN24772 is it that the xbox with the silver thing on the disc tray means its ben q (the thing that says *xbox 360*) or am i wrong?

@Dvizex Silver tray hasnothing to do with it I think that the arcades (white trays) got the lite-ons a few months before the silver trays did.

The silver on the front is just a clip on piece means nothing have to take the fp off look through the hole under the front right side of the drive no wires mean its samsung/ hitachi white wires means benq and yellow liteon just replaced liteon on my black elite

Does anyone here have an Xbox 360 Elite with Jasper motheroard, Lite-on drive & DC-brushless fans that makes a grinding-like noise when playing DVDs ? It sounds just like the disc is hitting the lens or something like that. Can anyone help me ?

@b1iinx Jaspers never came with hitachi's they discontinued the hitachis years before the jasper
