  • The Marine tank looks great. Just one question dont you need an air stone?

I live in Cyprus could I pick up rock while im diving? it all looks like the suff you have used?

  • @divemunster1 You don't need an air stone buddy. If your allowed to take the rock then your on to a winner :)

  • Hi, loving the videos!! Got a question.... When you setup your nano marine tank you originally had a filter with it... Why are you just using live sand and rock now? The reason I ask is that I've just converted a12 gallon tropical tank to a nano reef tank and I was debating whether or not to use a filter (Fluval U2) as it has extra bio filtration etc but will take up space in my tank :-/. I've used 13ilbs

  • @Lagunasaxoxr2 Hi the small filter is just keep the water clear and help with water movement, it only has some filter wool that gets replaced every other day before the matter collected starts decaying thus releasing nasties back in to the tank. I'm having no problems without using a filter as such as regular water changes help a great deal. Also having live rock and live sand help buffer the PH (I think the proof is in the pudding as the saying goes ;)

  • Very nice. I actually had a 60litre marine tank a while ago with 2 clownfish. Those were the days :P

  • @JUNAID187 What filtration did you run on it mate?

  • @zackdmb Are you kidding me? Did you just stumble on this video? Please visit my channel and go to my latest uploads and you will see a video I uploaded regarding Hybrids! I'll tell you now and for those interested if I do not see who the females have bred with I will let the females spit in the tank, for many years I've been selling African Cichlids and have never sold Hybrids!!! I witnessed both the Patricki Jalo Reef male and female breeding, same goes for the minutus mbowe breeding.

  • Marc, great vid as usual but I do get the feeling that you need to find a guy who has masses of tanks but no idea how to present the hobby to the masses. You are a great front man and need a big stage to perform and show the masses what you have to offer. How I look forward to your future vids, all the best.

  • do the bristles eat any of the softer leaves plantes? and if you frag a hard coral does that part that you fragged of stay as a flat surface or the other coral branches cover it or does it grow back? and also when bristles are small how long do you have to wait to be able to tell when they are male or female

  • @DG27x Bristlenose plecos are probably the best algae eaters available for cichlid tanks. however, if you want something more pretty, (more of a decorative fish) I would go for a synodontis multipunctatus or any other synodontis species. but the bristlenose is definitely a great addition to any tank

  • @bolly12345 What's your male to female ratio in all or for each speices?

  • What kind of Cat fish can I put with Peacock Cichlids or should i ?

  • Hey Bolly! The tanks are looking great! I'm glad to see you're still doing awesome (if not better than ever) Keep up the great work!

  • great idea dude!change the marine nano tank into 60 liters and turn the little tank into a tropical acquascaping 'coz its more manageable to do the planting and more beautiful if done right :)

  • get some cabomba or giant vals for the planted tank. tall fast growing plants and will look great :)

  • cant wait for when you can post the fry let me know as soon as pal, im defiantly interested :)
