I'm tempted to buy this kit for 100$ (as I found it online). But the mixed reviews are scaring me so I need a brutally honest opinion... Is it worth it?

@picassopainter2 Well its hard to say. This kit is cool, but I was little bit dissapointed by cymbals.Its playable, but you feel like hiting hard piece of rubber and drum sticks are not bouncing back so well.I am also drummer so my hands hurts after that. I you should take a look at new models for new version of rock band and GH games. But I dont have experience with it, and I dont have experience with basic model.

Yes, There is a lag, but only when I use it on GH on PC in Windows. When I play these drums on PS3 GH, there is no lack - Also - when you use USB guitar Hero Microphone - there is non playable lag on PC version - and on PS3 it's ok

I hace a question, do you experience lag when you play the drums? Like a delay between the moment when you strike drumpad, and the moment when you hear the sound back from the drums on guitar hero or garageband through your speakers/tv.. I experience it through both my tv (in the solo drumfills on GH) and my pc when playing it as a midi instrument.. Maybe you could help with this?

@Azelucan There is delay on PC version, when I play these drums with PS3 - there is just slight delay - I have to calibrate it in game - and then its sort of ok

Iif you buy second separate bass pedal and you will have just stereo switch for small jack, it will definitely work. But I don't have rock band and there is no 2nd bass kick on GHWT - so I dont know - if it works in the game too

If so how do you get the pc to recognize the drum set?
