This is a video I found which explains how The Getaway was made. This video includes a lot of interesting information such as how they created a virtual London, how they made the cutscenes using motion capture with real actors and how they designed the buildings and cars that you see in the game. It also includes interviews with the cast, crew and creators of the game. The recreated London that The Getaway team produced is the most accurate recreation of a real city in any game ever made. The video includes and stars: Brendan McNamara (Director), Katie Ellwood (Scriptwriter), Anna Edwards (Yasmin), Sam Coates (Art Director), Joe Rice (Frank Carter), Ricky Hards (Charlie Jolson) and Simon Wood (Production Designer).

  • The Getaway: Black Monday was awful compared to The Getaway.

For 1 reason: Black Monday was too easy. Your cars never took damage and your character could take too many hits.

  • @MrDan5324 didn't they cancel it?

  • Wheres getaway 3?!?!

  • @TheSeledan Maybe he didn' want to get interviewed because he's very shy lol

  • @TheGetawayPro where exactly is the one who gave voice for mark hammond

  • I can´t stand so much becouse i´m not english but a little bit of voice and all pictures help.

    This game is awesome.

  • Just a Masterpiece ! ♥

  • Thank you so much for uploading this.

I was (and still am really) obsessed with The Getaway, and I can't explain how much it means to me to see something like this about it. Thank you.

It's amazing how the core team here are still working together in 2011 on L.A. Noire, which is also awesome. Brendan McNamara is a visionary.
