OMG that's SO cute! the bird even knows when to take turns singing! You are wonderful people for taking in animals that need a home, especially high-maintenance animals like cockatoos!

major mitchell's cockatoo's are larger birds and more "rare" in certain parts of the world hence the high price tag and also be thankful they are more expensive so not every tom dick and harry could get them they are extremely sensitive birds and prone to plucking in captivity not to mention one of the most re-homed/abandoned birds due to their scream and need for attention. Only experianced bird owners should have these since they require a lot of human interaction.
