@ranb40 You could try pressing them in 2 or 3 steps to spread out the thin spots in the cones, I had the same problem with mine till i worked that out :-j

I got the aluminum tubing from Online Metals in Seattle and the bar stock for the baffles is scrap I got from a friend. All of my silencer baffles are machined from bar stock, I tried to make them from sheet metal but it kept on ripping when I pressed them into deep 60 degree cones.

I have an AR and contender in 300 whisper, a savage in 338 whisper, but no 302 whisper. They are all SSK, expensive but nice. The 300 whisper works well with 220-240 grain bullet subsonic and 125 supersonic. I use 300 grain jacketed and cast bullets in the 338.
