Snakes is one of my favorite Escher pieces, and to have such a great glimpse into his process and technique is a joy. Thank you so much for making this available!

Snakes is special, it have it´s own meaning. This picture is... I can look at it for hours.
Is amazing that he completed this one and then die, I readed somewhere a letter for a friend from Escher, where he says he can´t sleep at night because he have fear to die before completing this one.
