Bert Jones is profiled in this 1980 film along with Roger Carr. Also featured are highlights from the week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins. The Colts won the game 30-17 moving their record to 3-2 on the young season.
Note: Retired players, please contact your representatives about making available for purchase the original broadcasts of games from this era. Or a reasonably priced boxed set of yearly highlights (example, a 1970's Colts highlight film box-set featuring every yearly highlight film from 1970 to 1979 for about $20).
The same can be said for the Game of the Week films (box-set) or the weekly highlight films. For example, the complete15 episodes of the 1972 season of This Week in Pro Football in one box-set collection for about $20.
These films are wasting away in vaults when they should be in every Colt fans video library.
The revenue from the sales of the games from your era could be used for your pensions and medical issues.
Steve Sabol was such an unapologetic propagandist and still is. I think he studied under Leni Riefenstahl.

His rifle arm was so amazing!!!!!!! Hadn't Jones injuries that ended his career and also mismanagement from Colts office, his stats would be ended up to become great qb to join Elway, Manning, Brady, etc...nevertheless his arm is way better than anyone especially Elway.

Bert Jones was a precursor to "John Elway" at least in terms of arm strength and accuracy. Unfortunately Bert 's legend seems to be overlooked in the annuls of NFL lore. Roger Carr was of coarse the freakish "Valerie Borzoff" of NFL speedsters, the last fast white guy. Love the cameo of assistant coach William "Dick" Belecick" Great stuff
