F-16CJ Fighting Falcon Demonstration
Viper East Demo Team

2011 NAS Oceana Airshow
Naval Air Station Oceana
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Friday September 23, 2011

Major Ryan "Rider" Corrigan flies a low show performance in the F-16, one that he stated would be a very aggressive demonstration, and he sure lived up to his promise!

I apologize for the black or white blips in the video, as I still have yet to figure out what causes it.

If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • F 16 baby one of my all time favs .Does viper east use the same engine as viper west???I know there dif. blk models.Oh and if anyone knows the engine the thunderbirds use i would appreciate it. thanks

  • @TECKNETlUM I'm not an expert but I believe it goes as follows: Viper East uses the F-16CJ (Block 50, GE engine), Viper West uses the F-16CG (Block 40, GE engine), and today's Thunderbirds use the F-16CJ (Block 52, PW engine).

  • I'm going to miss these guys next year. :(

  • F-16 is still the best and will be for years to come, even with the F-35 and F-22 I suspect the F-16 will still serve the USAF well until at least 2025 if not longer. Great jet love them F-16's :D

  • @airshowfansh Thanks.Do you think the ge's are louder???

  • That was the best F-16 demo I have ever seen. That pilot was really pushing it.
