  • Yes Lester made any one feel like "family"

I have a few more videos I will try and get up soon. DC Bellamy playing Lesters famous "Flying V" guitar!

I remember you telling about the personal note Lester included with that CD. I sorely miss "Les"

  • to any one who stumbles across this vidoe and happnes to read this comment just listen... this is my uncle.. a great man who was unknown to the type of publicity he should of had.. he loved us kids in our family and the day he left us there were sooo many people.. i just hope that some day i could touch as many people as he did because you knew how much he was loved.. in Kanas City traveling down Bannister Road to going past 435 there were so many cars you never saw the end of them..

  • Never a day goes by without me thinking of Lester. Although I'm 12,000 miles away from KC and never met Lester, he seemed such a warm hearted guy. On the day before Lester's passing, he made a special trip to the post office to send me a CD, along with a happy note, making the gesture even more special. I've still got the signed customs label that came on the outside of the Jiffy bag. I'm sure Lester touched the hearts (and ears) of many people and I'm sure his music never be forgotten.

  • Lester "Wizard" King lives on! He could sure play the blues and was a very good person inside and out. Little did I know when I was at this CD release party this would be the last time that I would see & hear him perform. I will always treasure this memory. Peace-Lester!

  • Yes, Lester sure was a talented and accomplished musician, and virtually unknown to the rest of the guitar world. He was a special friend, even though I'm on the opposite side of the globe. I've got his LAST CD that he posted to me on the day before he sadly left this world. Thank you for posting this rare video clip. It means a lot to me.
