Brad Kahlefeldt was victorious on his home turf today, earning the first World Cup title of the 2010 season in Mooloolaba. Kahlefeldt finished just ten seconds ahead of Great Britains Stuart Hayes, who put on a late charge to finish second. Aussie youngster James Seear finished in third, 16 seconds back of Hayes, after leading for the majority of the race.
@risenflame I respect that....and i can understand both your and the itu's reasons for favouring draft legal....BUT its a less honest format in that, it takes such a large amount from the bike section. What makes it hard to swallow is that, if it were Draft Illegal there's a good chance id be alot closer to racing in the elite races. As a strong Swim biker....its particularly hard to swallow

@percdann I kinda like it for a change. there's plenty of draft-illegal races. it's just a different sort of race, I mean just look at most of the courses- diving off a platform? and usually in draft-illegal race you have 1 big (or maybe 2) loops on the bike and maybe 1 or 2 on the run- not 5 or 8 loops on the bike! I would think it would be a great specator sport as well...although I've never actually watched one myself in person. almost like track vs. road running (sorta)
