i watched this video to see where I could find the key card and was sorely disappointed

In the secret stage, once you touch the last blocks in the end, it triggers something that would make the huge blocks with spikes lower, and it would keep on lowering to the bottom of the map. To get those 50000 point things, you were supposed to jump on top of those large spike blocks, before they lower all the way.

At least that was how I remembered it 10 years ago.
