Why doesn't the Government just tell the Truth?

is it really so hard to look at the evidence and offer a scientifically valid response. the lesd insult response is meaningless and only works on people who are afraid of being insulted. anyone who cares about the truth doesn't mind being called names. but if you don't have anything intelligent to say, i suppose name calling and avoiding the issue help you fell better about yourself. kind of sad really.
