i am in 8th grade, my 3 best friends are deaf and I started learning a little 4 months ago, what's surprising is that I can actually understand this guy.

Well I am tell you that I can't force those sign Language of the ASL and also The Engish one words tell you that God know more of the English himself he is very intelligent more than all of us period.

sign language is fun. im learning it in school and for the class I have a deaf teacher. she's an awsome teacher.

aww well i have never done sign language before but in maths today me and a few friends were trying it out. i think its a really good thing to be able to do as i want to work with disabled people when im older.. from learning for 10mins in school i can now do the alphabet and a few animals. i will tyr to carry on though

i just hope next time you'll add subtitle (caption).. im trying to learn sign language, i wasnt born deaf but i my hearing just sort of disappeared. and i cant hardly lip read you.

Hi, I am Deaf and I agree with most of what you said. But "inventing a sign" is different than acting it out. A Deaf person will sign, "do you mean (insert word)?" Her fingerspelling IS very clear and YES the best way to learn ASL is thru Deaf people!

I agree with you that acting out something is a fine alternative when you don't know a sign; I never said that it wasn't. What I meant to say about invented signs is that it's better to fingerspell than to invent English-based signs that might insult deaf signers.
