the quadrotor was developed and built by Noam Meir and Yaron Halle in the control and robotics lab (CRL) of the EE faculty in the Technion, Israel.
movie in the hebrew language, the main explenation below:
in this movie we demonstrate the behaviour of the quadrotor with and without control.
first we demonstrate the reactions of the quadrotor without the control - to a strong disturbance in yaw and afterwards a disturbance coupled in all axes. as seen the only damping we get is the damping from the safety chord and power supply cables.
second we demonstrate the same thing with the conrol activated. the damping we now get is substantial.
