Just like joannedenise commented below...i relate so much more to S&K now than I ever did as a teen watching in the 80s. I loved them then but I related more to Adrienne at the time. Now I just cant get enough of reliving S&K's love story.

@Kaykay940 You are so right. I noticed when they returned in 2006 that Nick/Steve was just like the early Steve when he and Kayla were just getting together. He was sure that he wasn't good enough for her.

I love their vulnerability with each other. You can see it in their eyes. Steve pretends to be so tough, but he really wants her...He just thinks he doesn't deserve her. Even when he returned in 2006, there were shades of his insecurity...He didn't think he was good enough for her...and Kayla was always there, believing in him and loving him through it all.
