All of you bickering about your tiny little political quibbles, stop and contemplate the sky one day and realize just how small our conflicts really are in comparison. I commend Mr. Obama's administration for doing something like this!

Inspirational as always :) I just got back from a star party here in Colorado. Anytime we (and I mean everyone) can inspire kids to take an interest in education and show them the wonder of Nature, science, and the night sky - we all win. When was the last time you saw a president take this much interest in our children? I think we could all learn a thing or two from this experience... Share, learn, and inspire.

The United States of America must spend more on science education, research, and space exploration. We should also be more proactive in mitigating light pollution so all can enjoy the night sky.

Initiate the most profound event in human history and begin rebuilding the trust of the American people in their government and the standing of your country in the world.

1) Demand a full briefing from your military services and intelligence agencies regarding what they know and what they are doing about extraterrestrial related phenomena. If you are told you do not have the proper clearance for this information, replace that person with someone who has read the Constitution.

2) Press for open and comprehensive congressional hearings to take testimony from scores of government witnesses who have already come forward with extraordinary evidence and are prepared to testify under oath.

3) Formally acknowledge the extraterrestrial presence and finally end the truth embargo after 61 years.

4) Make available for open development technologies which have been secretly studied and reverse engineered for decades with unlimited black budget funding. These technologies are derived from extraterrestrial vehicles and are now essential to overcome the environmental, economic and societal challenges of our time.

I would say what a nice man and what a great show -- but this is not a very important thing in the lives of most people - -- like having a job, I have been without one for the last 5 months - like putting an end to overseas wars, there has not been any of this as promised to pull out the troops or make a reduction, instead we have an INCREASE -- so I say, damn you mr. president for being a nice guy on the little things and damn you for really SCREWING UP ON THE BIG THINGS!
