Ali Ferzat, a renowned political cartoonist whose drawings expressed Syrians' frustrated hopes for change was grabbed after he left his studio early Thursday and beaten by masked gunmen who broke his hands and dumped him on a road outside Damascus.
wankers - his work is now more famous than ever before..... im glad they didnt get the chance to kill him. we need artists and writers to reflect the real truth of what is going on. thank god for men like him. beating him up does nothing to stop the truth from being realised ...... goodbye gaddafi with his gay porn......hahahahahaha
From Italy, my deep respect, solidarity and sympathy to the family of this man suffering this brutal regime, and all the Arab and Iranian families having lost some dear, while searching for more freedom and normal life.
I don't want to forget the Turkish oppositors of Erdogan and his trial to change the face of Turkish democracy, and the oppositors of Ilham Aliyev in Azerbaijan, where this president spends much more money to resume the war vs Armenia than to give shelter to the displaced people
Pat Condell made a very good point about this whole business. With the Arab revolutions on one hand, and with the European bureaucrats running Europe's democracies straight into the ground on the other, the Arabs probably will be lecturing the Europeans on how to do democracy 15 years from now.
Este hombre es un genio, el mundo arabe nesecita mas hombres como Ali Ferzat, esperemos que se mejore pronto...

So ass-head ripped the throat out of a singer who sung songs for freedom, broke the hands of a cartoonist who dared draw cartoons against.
Spoilt brat ass-head hope to see your picture in flames and standing in the dock right along with Mubarak, and Gadaffi duck.
