That's the big problem with Yoshi Island hacks, as I understand it. For some reason, when a sprite doesn't show up because of sprite limitations, you can't just spawn it back like in Mario World.

Yes, in America and Europe maybe, but I think it must be the other way around in Japan. I base than on Nidoran. LOL Actually I'm not sure, but I do think it is the other way around at least somewhere.
